Monday
AM THOUGHTS- 5:30 rolled around quick….*ugh*….snooze it is. I was really tempted to just sleep till Doodlebug woke me up. But I knew I’d be upset with myself if I didn’t get up and get my workout in like I had wanted to. After a few snoozes, I finally rolled out of the bed and got going.
+ Workout Thoughts +
chest/triceps – circuit: Considering I had a rough time getting out of the bed this morning, I was happy to find out that today’s workout was a circuit, giving me a little extra time to wake up. I also pushed harder with heavier weights today using 10 to 12-pounds on most of the lifting. I did still use 5-pounds on the side skull crushers and chest flys. The pushups were a total killer! I know pushups are not my strong suit, so I am hoping to get better. Abs were not as bad today; I almost enjoyed it! hahaha!
MID-DAY THOUGHTS – With my workout done, I get to spend naptime working and not stressing!
EVENING THOUGHTS – So glad I got my butt out of the bed this morning to get my workout in while the house was sleeping. Now I get to spend time with the kids before bed and Mr. O, without having to worry about exercising.

Tuesday
AM THOUGHTS – Dead dog tired, again, this morning. But I woke up quick thanks to Energize. I’m interested to see how Mr. O does this morning since he’s decided to join in on the workout.
+ Workout Thoughts +
back/biceps – liift 50/50: Oh boy…I felt the burn today. I managed to lift 12-pounds on my first group of reps, but had to drop down to 10’s and then 5’s by the end. I was on the struggle bus for sure! Cardio wasn’t terrible even though I was dreading it. And abs were a little easier today, but I did have to modify shoulder taps.
I must say, I’m a little giggly that Mr. O actually got up and worked out with me this morning. Maybe now he’ll quit talking so much smack.
MID-DAY THOUGHTS – so hungry today but I am not wanting to be in the kitchen. I’ll do easy for lunch and snacks and then just make sure I get in all my veggies tonight.
EVENING THOUGHTS – Feeling grateful that I prepped a spaghetti squash yesterday so I don’t have to spend much time in the kitchen tonight.

EVENING THOUGHTS – soooooo hungry! Ended up having my cheat meal tonight.

Thursday
AM THOUGHTS – The alarm came too early, again. I want to eat all the things this morning. Trying out timed nutrition today.
+ Workout Thoughts +
shoulders – intervals: The workout is extremely tough for me this morning. I feel very fatigued. I am not able to lift as heavy as I thought I should. My abs were on fire!
MID-DAY THOUGHTS – Trying to drink lots of water to help with being tired. I keep getting hungry.
EVENING THOUGHTS – Hungry, holding out for dinner. Ended up eating early, approximately 5 pm.

Friday
AM THOUGHTS – Trying timed nutrition to a T today. I’m interested to see how this goes. I am staying very tired again.
+ Workout Thoughts +
legs – hiit: Not my fav workout…at all. I still got through it and I’m glad I pushed myself. I know cardio will probably never be my thing, and that’s okay! I still will do the best I can with it. Gotta get those gains!
MID-DAY THOUGHTS – sticking with my containers and timed nutrition to see if it helps with the tiredness and yuck I’ve been feeling.
EVENING THOUGHTS – By 4:15 pm, I have used all my allotted containers for the day. Food plan went to crap today. I am definitely thinking I need to move up in the nutrition plans.

recovery – cize, crazy 8’s: Such a booty kicker! My legs are burning! I am not a dancer but this was still a lot of fun. Great workout for some major cardio work!
EVENING THOUGHTS – I am exhausted from school shopping with Little Bear today, but I still pushed through to get in some cardio.

I gained 1 pound and lost about 1 inch this week. I’m a little frustrated by this. I know building muscle will cause you to possibly gain weight….and that’s okay. I’m just a bit frustrated I don’t see more change so far. I’m thinking my nutrition has been way off for what my body needs to fuel these workouts – especially considering I have been fighting major fatigue, soreness, and some light headaches. I know this is not just typical mom tiredness. I am listening to my body and I am going to give it more fuel next week.
I can’t believe week two is already over! The time has really flown by. It’s crazy how quick something goes when you enjoy it.
Yes…I just said I am enjoying my workouts!

It’s so crazy that I feel this way. I NEVER thought I would be the girl that would work out like this. Yet here I am rocking it! The truth is, you never really know what you are capable of unless you try. If I had let my insecurities and self-doubt stand in my way 9 months ago, I never would have started this fitness journey.
